1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
Apologies were received from Ken Skates, there was no substitution.
2 Inquiry into participation levels in sport - evidence session 4
The Committee heard evidence from Show Racism the Red Card Cymru.
The Committee agreed to write to the Minister regarding specific cases that were referred to in the meeting.
3 Inquiry into participation levels in sport - evidence session 5
The Committee heard evidence from the NUT.
The NUT agreed to provide further data on role models within schools.
The Committee agreed to write to the NUT with further questions arising from the evidence.
4 Inquiry into participation levels in sport - evidence session 6
The Committee heard evidence from the WLGA.
The WLGA agreed to provide more information on swimming pathways including specific case studies.
5 Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting
The Committee agreed the motion.
6 Inquiry into the future of equality and human rights in Wales - key issues
Members considered the paper and suggested some possible recommendations. The draft report would be considered at a future meeting.
